Sky Surfing Club manages numerous flying sites for it’s members, frequent social events, and numerous competition opportunities. Alongside these, the club also offers the following:
Coaching

Kit
The club owns a ground handling paragliding wing which may be borrowed by members. Details can be found here
Financial Support
Sky Surfing Club offers a range of financial support for members. The following support is offered from 2025:
First Aid Training
50% subsidy of the price of club-run 1 and 2-day first aid courses, which concentrate specifically on injuries and medical emergencies that are most likely to occur in a free flight environment. Join our First Aid Planning telegram group to join a future first aid course.
Overseas Competition
£100 subsidy is available for pilots competing in their first overseas competition.
BCC Retrieve Journey Mileage
The club pays fuel mileage at the standard rate (currently 45p/mile) for retrieve journeys made at BCC rounds. (This does not include your journey to and from the event!).
